Broken graphic card in my laptop
I seem to attract problems. Especially when they are about my gadgets. This time, my graphic card in my (private) laptop stopped working and said goodbye to me with a bluescreen. A reboot of the system ends up with this screen:

After all my problems i had with my laptop, this seemed to be the last try of it to make me angry. And it worked. I now have to look either to buy a new laptop, or to use my laptop from work for private use. Mhh… Don’t know yet!

Mein Notebook kam gestern aus der erneuten Reparatur zurück. Laut dem Zettel der von Teleplan beigelegt war, konnte kein Fehler festgestellt werden. Meine beigelegte Fehlerbeschreibung lautete in etwa so: “…Beim Einschalten fährt das Notebook nicht hoch. Es erscheint kein BIOS-Bootscreen und logischerweise auch kein Windows-Bootscreen. Es erfolgt jedoch ein kurzer Festplattenzugriff und der Bildschirm wird

…dann ist der Service wohl nicht über uns hier gelaufen… Nein, natürlich nicht. ich hab bei der Telekom-Hotline angerufen wegen meinem Notebook…. IDIOTEN :> Naja, ich hab nach einem ewigen Telefonat erfahren, dass mein Notebook in der Reparatur ist, und noch nicht wieder losgeschickt wurde. Es gibt mal wieder Neuigkeiten. Und richtig, es sind keine positiven. Gestern sollte mein Notebook abgeholt werden – bei mir auf der Arbeit. Soeben kam mein Notebook wieder zurück aus dem Service. Somit wurden schon folgende Schäden an meinem Notebook behoben: Abstehende Taste direkt beim Kauf (Taste erneuert) Riss im Display (Display Rahmen erneuert) Defekte linke Touchpad Taste (Mainboard getauscht) Notebook ging nicht mehr an (CPU-Kühler getauscht) Bin mal gespannt was als nächstes so kommt…

Unglaublich aber wahr: Mein R70 von Samsung ist schon wieder ein Fall für den Service! Nachdem direkt beim Kauf schon eine Taste der Tastatur defekt war, und vor kurzem der Displayrand gerissen war sowie die Linke Maustaste nicht mehr ging, ist nun erneut ein Defekt aufgetreten! Das Notebook fährt nicht mehr hoch. Zumindest nicht immer.

Heute kamm mein Notebook zurück. Sowohl die kaputte Taste als auch der Rahmen des Displays wurden anstandslos auf Garantie ausgetauscht! Super Sache, und das innerhalb von 4 Tagen. Absolut Spitze!

So sieht er aus, der Riss in meinem Notebook im Rand des Displaygehäuses. Laut Auskunft von der Samsung Hotline ein Garantiefall, falls keine äußeren Schäden festzustellen sind. Am Montag wird mein Notebook abgeholt. Bin dann mal gespannt, ob wenn es in Reparatur ist, der Garantiefall immernoch zutrifft, oder sich versucht wird rauszureden.

Mein Samsung R70 kam heute endlich wieder aus der Reperatur zurück, nachdem beim Kauf schon eine Taste der Tastatur beschädigt war. Problems with gadgets of any kind is something we have in common. You know i love my MacBook Pro, but i would love it even more, if the optical drive would not refuse every second disc i want it to read, or if it would stop loosing color on the palm rests.
So why don’t you get a Mac now

As you know i like their design, but that’s about it. And as other companies catched up at that point, there is no point in buying a mac.

One point for the macs is the unibody of aluminium. My nearly 6 year old PowerBook made of aluminium is very strong and it’s still living after a fall down from the desk directly on the power supply. The only damage is a 1mm deep bump near the power supply.

But you don’t have to use a mac. Okay, they’re the best laptops, but if you don’t wanna use the best …
Wish you the best for a new Laptop, you had too much problems with your old one, that’s not the normal case.

Well, they might have the best ones if you blend out: the extraordinary high price, the bad support, the series of production errors (e.g. macbook cracks right next to the edge), the lack of compatible software, the still not available fullscreen feature and last but not least the fact that every wannabe stylish punk idiot nowadays thinks having a mac is necessary.
